Back just for a while

Yesterday I got back from my grandmother's where I spend six days or so. What can I tell you, I had pretty shitty time except for the last night. We got together with some friends, drank beer and talked about everything. And trust me when I say everything - religion and 7 deadly sins, Reincarnation, Еthics and morals, Green Peace and political problems, psychology, Marxism, arts - whatever you can think of. I must confess that by the end of the night I realised that I've had a bit too much alcohol but what the hell, we only live once! So much other things happened that night - walking barefoot down the street, sitting in the park in the 'early' hours of the morning and so on and so forth. But I'd like to keep the rest for myself ;)

Today I went to a local (figuratively) swimming pool with a friend of mine. We used to date back in the days and he broke my heart again and again. Now we're just friends and it really feels a bit strange for me but it's nice. We had pretty good time and we had more one on one time than we used to in our entire relationship. Just the two of us for 10 hours - that had never happened. It was fun.

No photos again, sorry guys,
xoxo, A.

Here I go again...

I'm hitting the road once again. I'll be back afoer a few days.
See you then,
xoxo, A.

Rock my world

I just came back from a gig. A friend of mine plays drums in a band called 'Mind Disorder' and we went to a local club to support him. All the band that played tonight were pretty good but our guys were THE BEST! The girls and I gathered all the looks and even one of the dudes in the other band couldn't stop staring at us. He was quite cocky guy, I think so I feel flattered. The only bad thing about tonight is that tomorrow I won't be able to move my neck but it was totally worth it! Unfortunately I didn't bring my camera and I can't post any photos. Just your luck! :D

Sleep tight,

Memories of lost childhood

I spend the last few days back to the little town where I grew up and I had a great time catching up with my old friends. While I was there I had this idea of visiting all the place which I used to love so much when I was a child. Unfortunately I didn't have enough time to go everywhere but here's a part of my favorite places:

1.These are the benches in front of my building. Back in the days we imagined we were princesses and this was our palace ^^

2. This is the pear tree we never actually climbed up. The first couple of feet are easy but then it gets impossible to go any further.

3. Here's the old playground. We used to spend hours here and when we finally went back home we were all covered with bourses and dirt. God I miss these times!

4. Another three. I used to drive my grandmother crazy when I climbed up here. From the top of the three it was easy to go on the garage... it was also forbidden but who cares!?

6. The school. This is where I spend the first 5 years of my education. I've been taught by my two of my all time favorite teachers exactly in this building and I hold some precious memories from here.

7. The waterfall is without a shadow of a doubt the most beautiful place in the entire region. That makes it the most popular place for picnics and walks at weekend.

8. And finally - my all time favorie place - the cherry three. When I was younger it was surrounded by bushes and weeds but this has never stopped me and my friends from coming there. We used to do our homework hight in it's branches and had fun there afterwards. Nowadays the branch I loved sitting on has been cut off along with all the lower ones and climbing is not as easy at it used to be but I'm still able to go to the top. God, I love this three!

I'll show you the rest of the places where I've spend my wonderful childhood some other time.
That's all of me for tonight,
xoxo, A.

Sugar and spice...

Okey, another blog, another first post. My name is Aleksandra, I live in Sofia, Bulgaria. For the record: this is not going to be blog about my writings nor a fashion blog nor a photography blog. It's going to blog about every single thing on my mind. That is way I named it that way. I'm going to begin with a list of 100 things you don't have to know myself but you'll need to in order to understand me. Enjoy ;)

1. I am an Aquarius.
2. I’m only child and I actually like it.
3. Though I sometimes wish I had an older brother.
4. I never truly finish anything I start.

6. I always tend to get what I want. Sometimes it takes me months but I'm patient.
7. And once I get it… I get bored with it very easily.
8. I hate math! I really do. But math hates me back.
9. I love arts. All kinds of arts – photography, painting and sculpting, literature and music, , dancing and acting… the list goes on and on.
10. I love to learn useless things & facts, everyone asks me everything all the time.
11. I’m often obsessed over little things that no one else ever understands.
12. Unlike most people I can describe myself in one word.

16. I don’t own a white bra.
17. Everyone who doesn’t know me seems to think I'm very ladylike.
18. Truth is I drink booze, I smoke, I’m hooked on caffeine and I swear at times. Get over it!
19. I’m dying my hair red.
20. My hair only looks cool for like 10 minutes after I leave my house.
21. I’m kind a messy (when it comes to house cleaning) but in artistic way.
22. And I always know where my stuff is.

55. When I come up with an amazing plan something always messes up. Even the plan of not having a plan.
56. When a film based on a book comes out, or a movie remake is released, I always plan to read the book and/or see the original film version, regardless of whether or not I intent on seeing the remake.
57. But I usually don’t. I mentioned the problems I have with my plans.
58. When I like a song I'll listen to it a million times, then almost never again.
59. I've always had a thing for vampire fiction. (real books, not some crappy nonsense like “Twilight”)
60. I enjoy reading poetry. I love Baryon, Shakespeare’s sonnets, Baudelaire, Edgar Alan Poe, W.H. Auden.
61. My favorite line is from W.H. Auden: “Oh let not Time deceive you/ You cannot conquer Time.”
62. When it comes to books and buildings and cities, I prefer things that have some history to them.
63. That is why my favorite city is London, England.
64. And I love “One Flew Over A Cuckoo’s Nest” for the same reason. The story behind the novel is just as fascinating as the book itself.
65. I love writing but I don't write as often as I should.
66. I can watch "Friends" 24/7 and never get sick of them.
67. I say “Friends” is my favorite TV show.

72. If I ever get married it will be only because I dream of that perfect day during which I’ll wear the beautiful white dress.
73. I believe in God (or Goddess....I don't think gender is the point) and consider myself a spiritual person but I have no religious affiliations. I believe in infinite possibilities.
74. I enjoy discussions about religion and faith, so long as all parties involved respect the others' beliefs or lack thereof.
75. I believe a person’s spirituality is a private thing, so I don't participate in organized religion.
76. A few of my friends call me Axl. It has nothing to do with Axl Rose.
77. Two things about my future freak me out: the idea of having daddy issues and/or becoming like my mother.
78. I don’t like technology. I’m old school – handwriting, talking in person not on the phone, ect.

89. I just adore guys with British accent!
90. I am obsessed with high heels…
91. And yet again I prefer to be barefoot.
92. I wish I'd live in the 40s or in the 50s (the Beat generation!) or in the 60s (the hippie movements) or the 70s (the birth of the punk music) or the 80s (the “sex, drugs and rock n’ roll” era). It’s all about freedom.
93. I love all about these periods - the subcultures formed then, the music, the literature (especial the beaters!), the way people looked...<3
94. I consider myself Generation X even though I'm younger. I just feel like it.
95. I like finding joy in the simple pleasures of life – a beautiful sunset; the way air smells after a rain; a good book and/or movie; going out with friends for a beer. You know what I’m talking about.
96. It is really easy to make me happy – give me a cigarette or cup of coffee, or a beer, or chocolate; take me out for shopping, or to my favorite bar; karaoke or dance club with friends; movie night, ect.
97. I love travelling! I wish I could do it more often.
98. I'm much nicer than this list makes me out to be.
99. There is no 100, you only get 99. Refer to number 4.

That's all for now, guys.
xoxo, A.
